6 month old male guinea pig. Fight with his brother 2 days ago. Lacerated upper eyelid, superficial corneal ulcer, diffuse corneal edema, suppurative epiphora, red sclera.
I put it on meloxicam 0,5mg/kg bid and cloramfenikol eye drops 4 times daily.
Would you give any other drugs?
Should the laceration be sutured?
Can it heal by secondary intent, or is it likely to cause issues in this location?
