Hello
11 yo small breed dog, neutered male. Presented w generalised cutaneus lesions. Cirkular, scaly, some w ulcers, mostly on dorsum and ventrum. Owner said they started after a dental procedure. The dog has pruritus, but otherwise no other clinical symptoms.
The pics are from a smear of one of the lesions. Im thinking ddx cutaneus histiocytosis, but since Ive never seen or treated this before, Id appreciate any input.
The dog is quite aggressive, so further testing will have to be carefully planned.
Thanks
These have little bit less cytoplasms than would be expected from histiocytes. Definitely round cell, probably lymphoid in origin. Suspicipus of cutaneous lymphoma. Biopsy with IHC recommended.
