Cat, almost 17 yr, european shorthair, female spayed. No known history before 1st consultation:
22 december 23: vomiting after meal, normal stool, general exam: very bad dental (108, 208) further no abnormalities on heart and lung auscultation and abdominal palpation, normal mm, white sclera. Did have low temperature (37,6 celcius). On Cerenia. Stopped vomiting but anorexia.
29 december 23: Clinical: no significant weight loss, 38.9 temperature, no other findings besides dental. Bloodwork: kidney, liver, glucose, TP, T4: unremarkable. Mirtazapine added. Cerenia continued. Started eating but did vomit sometimes (no food, some white froth, not related to meal).
04 Januari 24: Dental. Intubated. Extraction of 108 an 208 (both surgical because of resorption lesions). Good recovery. First day no eating but after one day, started eating like crazy.
Keeps on vomiting regulary white foam/froth. No relation to foodintake.
Then, owner made film on telephone: it appears to be coughing and no vomiting.
X-rays from this morning. Clinical: no dyspnoe or breathing effort (Freq 28/min), Hart no murmurs, 176, regular. T 38.8
Am I looking at inflammation (like bronchitits/bronchopneumonia), cardiac congestion, neoplasia, lung-wurm?
I can use some help here. Tube after dental was clean, no mucus or so.
