female Guinea pig, 4yo, in a good body condition, bright and alert, teeth ok.
Owner noticed mass on ventral neck a few days ago
no connection to bone structures or teeth
mass is cystic, with watery fluid of dark brown color.
cytology showed few erythrocytes, neutrophils, cell detritus and the cells shown in the picture. are those cell macrophages/siderophages leading to suspect hematoma being removed? thanks
