Buffy coat from a leukopenia, anemia, thrombopenia dog. Ab rapid test negative for Babesia spp, E.canis, Anaplasma spp. Anaplasma platys has been detected in blood smear, in small number. But these cells appeared, are they mitosis or just some degenerative cells? Any idea of the diagnosis? Thank you so much!

These cells (in my opinion) are myeloid precursor cells with some mitosis and in great numbers, which would raise the suspicion of myeloid leukemia.
