10.5yo f/s doodle
Approximately 2.5 yr post mandiular osteosarcoma hemi mandibulectomy.
Opted no other to at the time.
Dx metastasis right cranial lung lobe Dec 2023.
Currently 6week history of mass on ventral neck that had now abscessed twice.
When not “active” mass is soft like a lipoma. When active it grows exponentially 2-3 timess the size then ruptures on 24-36 hours. (Twice now)
Was on Clavamox 13.75mg/kg and prednisone 2 mg/kg then tapered to 0.5mg/kg and currently at this dose.
Responded well mass/ abscess shrank to size of walnut and became soft in texture as. D/C Clavamox after 2 weeks
Mass/abscess returned and grew with in 3 days of D/C Clavamox.
Looking for insight on cellular content of this. Obviously TNTC neutrophils but would appreciate input on other cellular content.
